GRCC Construction Summer Camp
Students(6-8 grades) will explore the exciting construction industry. They will get hands-on experience working in different construction crafts - such as carpentry, concrete, masonry, and ironwork. Students will take a field trip to at least one construction site during the camp and will leave with a handcrafted product they make during the camp.

Shape Camp (Summer Health Activities & Professions Exploration):
July 11-14 at the GVSU Cook-DeVos Center for Health Services in downtown Grand Rapids. GVSU sHaPe Camp is a one-week, FREE day camp introduction to the health professions for boys and girls currently in 7th and 8th grades and Michigan residents. Ferris State University: Molecular Diagnostics DNA Camp
Mon June 20 - Fri June 24 in Grand Rapids
This camp was developed for students with an interest in genetics or those considering a career in science or medicine. Here, you’ll perform hands-on experiments using the same equipment found in clinical laboratories nationwide, including isolating DNA from plants. Through a series of tests, you’ll be able to transform this mysterious matter we call DNA into something you can actually see!
